Manchester Law Tutors is operated by London Law Tutor Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08253481), with its registered office at Berkeley Square House, Berkeley Square, London W1J 6BD. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number ZA236376).

What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through our forms and live chat:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and your enquiry or comments.
- Live chat: anything you type into the chat window, and any name or email address you give there.
- Request a quote form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your subject, course level or exam, tutoring hours or deadlines, your country of study, and any other details you choose to include.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. YouTube videos load only when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and our Law Blog section loads the latest article titles from uklawtutors.com. Our live chat, provided by Zendesk, stores small files (cookies and local storage) on your device so the chat window works and can keep your conversation.
The live chat only loads after you click OK on our cookie notice. Until you do, no chat cookies are set. We remember your choice on your device so we don’t ask again on every page.
You can change your mind at any time. Clearing this website’s data in your browser settings also removes your choice.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry.
- To prepare a quote and match you with a suitable tutor or consultant.
- To arrange and deliver any services you go on to book with us.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have separately agreed to it, and we never sell your information.
Our lawful basis
We process your information because it is necessary to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract with us (such as providing a quote), and for our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
Who we share it with
- Web3Forms, the service that delivers form submissions from this website to our inbox, acting on our behalf.
- Zendesk, the service that provides our live chat, acting on our behalf.
- Our tutors and consultants, only to the extent needed to arrange the service you have asked for.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any services that follow, and to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@manchesterlawtutor.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
