SQE2 tutoring that has you performing like a solicitor.
SQE2 tests whether you can do the job: interview a client, make submissions to a judge, analyse a file, research the law and draft documents to the standard of a Day One solicitor. We coach you until it is second nature.
Six legal skills, tested in realistic practice.
SQE2 is closed book, although you are given the kind of materials a newly qualified solicitor would look up. Negotiation is not assessed on its own but appears within the tasks.
Four stations
- Advocacy in Dispute Resolution
- Advocacy in Criminal Litigation
- Client interview and attendance note in Property Practice
- Client interview and attendance note in Wills and Intestacy, Probate Administration and Practice
Twelve stations
- Case and matter analysis
- Legal research
- Legal writing
- Legal drafting
Each skill is tested across Dispute Resolution, Criminal Litigation, Property Practice, Wills and Intestacy, and Business Organisations, Rules and Procedures.
SQE2 skills are learned by doing.
You cannot rehearse a client interview in a lecture hall. One to one, every session is live practice with instant, specific feedback.
Realistic clients and judges
Your tutor plays the client, the judge or the other side, so every oral station feels familiar on the day.
Line-by-line feedback
Your drafting, research notes and letters are marked closely against the Day One solicitor standard.
Focused on your weakest skills
We find the skills and practice areas that cost you marks and put your time there.
